Collaborate With Stray Cat News🐱

Stray Cat News works with rescues, nonprofits, cat-related businesses, and ethical pet brands who care about community, trust, and doing things thoughtfully.

This work is guided by four rescue cats who have learned, over time, what’s worth paying attention to — and what isn’t. Because of that, collaboration here is kept simple, clear, and intentional.

How Collaboration Works

Stray Cat News collaborates with people and organizations whose work centers cats and the communities around them.

That can look like rescue groups sharing events, small businesses telling the story behind what they do, or pet brands taking a more considered approach to visibility. The common thread is care — for the work, for the audience, and for the pace at which things unfold.

The details below are meant to answer questions before they’re asked, so collaboration can feel straightforward from the start.

Rescue work takes enough time and energy already.

If you’re part of a rescue, shelter, TNR group, or nonprofit cat organization, you’re welcome to submit your events to Stray Cat News for free. This includes adoption events, fundraisers, clinics, and community cat initiatives.

Events are added to our public calendar monthly and shared as part of our ongoing community coverage. There are no fees, no expectations in return, and no hidden steps.

If you’re showing up for cats, this space is for you.

Working With Businesses & Pet Brands

Stray Cat News works with cat-related businesses and pet brands through paid editorial features.

These features are written the same way we cover everything else here — with context, care, and attention to the work itself. They’re not ads, and they’re not quick mentions. Each one is treated as a standalone story.

To keep things simple (and manageable), we offer a small number of feature formats rather than custom packages.

  • Occasionally, a business or brand comes to us with a collaboration that doesn’t fit neatly into one of the feature formats above.

This usually involves multiple assets, longer timelines, or integrated storytelling across the site, newsletter, and other channels.

When that happens, we treat it as a separate editorial project rather than a standard feature.

Custom collaborations are limited and considered on a case-by-case basis.
