Some days don’t just happen — they settle into you.
This was one of those days.
We packed up our hooman, loaded the car, and drove two hours to East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, because something about Cozy Cat Stretch at Cozy Kitty Café felt worth the journey. And the moment we stepped inside, shoes off, mats laid out, cats wandering freely… we knew we were exactly where we were supposed to be.
This wasn’t just a class.
It was a pause.
A breath.
A reminder that wellness can be soft, playful, and shared.
Movement Meets Mindfulness (With Cats Watching Closely)
Led by Tina Wieland, Cozy Cat Stretch is a beginner-friendly mobility and stretching class that blends gentle movement, breathwork, and presence — all while surrounded by adoptable cats who clearly believe they are part of the curriculum.
The flow was slow, accessible, and grounding. No pressure. No perfection. Just hoomans listening to their bodies while cats observed, supervised, and occasionally tried to sit directly on someone’s mat (or back).
We watched people soften. Shoulders dropped. Breathing slowed. Smiles crept in. And every so often, a curious cat would wander through, reminding everyone to stay present — or at least to admire them.
Cozy Kitty Café: Where Community and Rescue Intersect
Cozy Kitty Café in East Stroudsburg, PA isn’t just a place to grab a drink or meet cats. It’s a space built around intention.
The room felt warm and welcoming — soft lighting, calm energy, and cats who clearly felt safe enough to nap, play, or say hello on their own terms. That matters. When cats can be themselves, people get to truly meet them.
Classes like Cozy Cat Stretch don’t just support human wellness — they help showcase adoptable cats in a natural, low-stress environment. It’s community care in action.
Still Glowing — And Already Planning the Next One
By the time the class ended, no one rushed out the door. People lingered. Cats curled up. Conversations unfolded softly. It felt like leaving a friend’s living room — the good kind, where you’re already thinking about when you’ll be back.
If you’re craving movement without pressure…
If you love cats and community spaces…
If you want to support rescue in a way that feels joyful and grounding…
Keep Cozy Cat Stretch on your radar.
We’ll be talking about this one for a while — and we hope it inspires you to seek out the cozy corners of your own community too.

Merry Christmas.
We’re sharing our story — what this year gave us, what it took from us, and what we’re deeply grateful for as a little newsroom run by rescue cats and one very loved hooman.
It’s a tale of growth, community, late nights, second chances, and the quiet magic that happens when rescued cats become anchors in a life that needed them just as much.
We hope it feels like a warm cup of something familiar.
