😹 Okay, hoomans. Forget Garfield. Forget lasagna. Reading, PA officially has its own heavyweight champion of cuddles: Panzer, the 27-pound cat who lives with Brandi, a Crave Café worker (our hoomans favorite cafe!!)
And yes, he’s real. He’s fluffy. He’s fabulous. And his story is one you’ll never forget.
🐱 Who Is Panzer?
Panzer joined Brandi’s family in 2020 after what she calls “a rehoming situation.” His mom was a Siamese, but one wild night she slipped out — and the result? A larger-than-life cat with the size of a snow leopard and the heart of a teddy bear.
👉 According to Brandi:
“His most impressive feat is his 27 lb stature. Even after bloodwork and thyroid tests, the vets assure me he’s perfectly healthy. He’s just a Big Beautiful Boy.”

😻 Life With a Gentle Giant
So what’s it like living with a cat the size of a toddler? Brandi says:
Lap naps are a gamble. “If he decides to sleep on you, you might suffocate. But hey, it’s worth it for 27 pounds of furry hugs.”
The floor shakes when he jumps. Hardwood beware.
He’s still got moves. Panzer somehow scales cat trees, fridges, and even bunk beds. Nobody knows how.
His personality? Perfection. “He’s a mix of fluffy lounge cat and playful hunter,” Brandi says.

🐾 The Rivalry With Theo the Dog
Every hero has an arch-nemesis, right? Panzer’s is Theo, the neighbor’s German Shepherd mix.
Despite being calm and cuddly, Panzer “HATES Theo with the fire of a thousand suns,” Brandi explains. He’s even escaped the house a few times to mount surprise attacks. Is it jealousy? An ancient rivalry? Or maybe Theo’s an undercover art thief? We may never know.
💙 Why Panzer Inspires Us

He’s healthy, happy, and loved beyond measure. Brandi sums it up perfectly:
“He’s a cat you can hug! 27 pounds of furry hugs. And he purrs through all of them.”
His advice for life? “Eat the cake. Don’t skip dessert. You only go around once — why say no when you can say yes to pie?” 🍰
