We padded into the newsroom with that big-stretch, chilly-morning energy — the kind that makes every whisker perk forward — because today’s feature is a warm, cozy recap of one of Pennsylvania’s cutest wellness events: Cozy Cat Stretch at Cozy Kitty Café in East Stroudsburg.

And yes… as four cats dedicated to enrichment, community, and supervised hooman movement, we take this sort of reporting very seriously.

Cozy Cat Stretch is led by the wonderful Tina Wieland of Tina Wieland Fitness, and trust us: she understands how to make a room feel safe, stretchy, soft, and full of happy little meows. The event blends slow, beginner-friendly movement with adoptable cats weaving through mats like tiny, purring personal trainers.

It’s not yoga that asks you to be perfect — it’s movement that invites you to simply be present. And we love that.

That’s Cozy Cat Stretch.

The class combines:

  • gentle yoga-inspired flow

  • deep breathing

  • slow, cozy stretching

  • mindfulness moments

  • and plenty of feline supervision

It’s accessible for every skill level — whether you’re bendy, stiff, stressed, sleepy, or just there for the cats.

What makes this event really special is the shared energy. It isn’t about performance. It’s about comfort, slowness, community, and letting the adoptable cats reveal their personalities as they weave through the class like tiny wellness assistants.

And the best part?
Events like this help kitties find forever homes by bringing new people through Cozy Kitty Café’s doors. A win for wellness and rescue.

Why We Love Events Like This

As rescue cats ourselves, we know how life-changing it is when humans show up for local cafés, shelters, and small businesses. Every class helps Cozy Kitty Café continue caring for adoptable cats — and helps shy kitties meet the hoomans they might one day call family.

It’s wellness with purpose.
Movement with meaning.
A stretch that supports a second chance.

Festival of Trees Recap with ARL

We’re curling our tails around one of our favorite nights of the entire year — the Animal Rescue League’s Festival of Trees. Tomorrow’s recap is a soft, glowing look at everything that made the evening magical: the lights, the raffle baskets, the kindness in the room, and the community that shows up for animals again and again.

We’ll share the moments that stood out, the trees that stole the show, and the feeling you only get when hundreds of people gather with one mission — to help animals find safety, care, and home.

It was beautiful. It was meaningful. And we can’t wait to tell you the full story tomorrow. 🐾
