Paws Up, Berks County — It’s Vaccine Time!

Hey hoomans! It’s your Stray Cat News crew — Callie, Seymour, Yebba, and Mama — bringing you the scoop (and maybe some kibble crumbs) on one of the most important events this month: the ARL Vaccine Clinic happening Monday, November 10, 2025, from 4–6 PM at Pet Supplies Plus, 538 E Lancaster Ave, Reading, PA.

You know what’s scarier than a vacuum cleaner? 🫣
Skipping your pet’s vaccines.

That’s why we’re purring with excitement to share that the Animal Rescue League of Berks County (ARL) is making it easier — and more affordable — than ever to keep your pets healthy and safe.

What’s on the Menu (Besides Treats)

Here’s what’s available at this clinic:

🐾 Cats:

  • Rabies Vaccine – $25

  • Distemper Combination Vaccine – $20

  • Microchip & Registration – $25

🐾 Dogs:

😸 Important Rules (Because We’re Responsible Cats)

  • All cats must be in carriers. (We know, it’s not our favorite part either.)

  • All dogs must be leashed — retractable leashes must stay locked.

  • Pets showing signs of aggression or prior vaccine reactions can’t be seen.

  • No printed vaccine certificates — all records will be emailed after the event.

Mama says organization is sexy. 🐈‍⬛

Why Vaccines Matter — Straight from the Stray Cat Newsroom

Vaccines keep both pets and people safe.
They prevent diseases like rabies, distemper, and parvo — illnesses that can be deadly, but totally preventable.

And bonus? Every dollar you spend at this ARL event helps more animals in need across Berks County. 🐾
