The Survivor Turned Snuggle Queen
Once upon a time, Callie’s life was anything but cozy. She came from an abusive household where she was neglected, stressed, and left to fend for herself. When we arrived to rescue her, the people simply said:
"You can go find her. We aren’t helping."
And so, we did.
Fast forward over 10 years, and Callie is now the definition of a spoiled queen. She has mastered the fine art of napping in sunbeams, indulging in gentle head pats, and keeping her hoomans wrapped around her paw. She’s a little creaky in the hips these days, but we fully believe she’s immortal (or at least, we hope she is).
Want to fund Callie’s royal lifestyle (AKA, her naps & treats)?

Every cat crew needs a wild card, and in our house, that’s Seymour.
Seymour is the definition of “shy but secretly unhinged.”
He’s got that classic orange tabby derp energy, meaning he’s either:
1️⃣ Completely zoned out, staring into the void, OR
2️⃣ Absolutely terrorizing his sister, playing way too rough.(She still loves him, though. Probably.)
While he might be a bit of a playground bully, he’s also the biggest mama’s boy of the bunch. When it’s just him and his hooman mom, he turns into a snuggle machine—purring, kneading, and acting like he wasn’t just body-slamming his sister five minutes ago.
He might never warm up to strangers, but to his inner circle, he’s all heart (and a little mayhem).

Once upon a time in the city of Lancaster, Mama roamed the streets like she owned them. Unlike most strays, she wasn’t afraid of people—she loved a good head scratch and had that I-used-to-have-a-home energy.
Then, in November 2021, we noticed something different. Mama was looking a little… round.
Pregnant.
She vanished for two weeks, and when she finally returned—surprise!—she wasn’t alone. She had two tiny kittens in tow.
It took time (and an embarrassing number of treats), but we slowly earned their trust, rescued all three of them, and officially became a four-cat household.
She still loves the great outdoors (from the safety of a window seat), still enjoys a good pet session, and still runs this house like she’s in charge—because, let’s be honest, she is.

From the start, Yebba was the wild child— outside as a stray she scaled tree limbs, chased leaves, and one time fended off a small snake in our backyard!
Now inside she darts around like she’s training for the Kitty Olympics, scales furniture like a parkour pro, and launching herself at toys with zero regard for physics or personal safety.
While the other cats are napping or keeping their routine, Yebba is out there—scouting, investigating, and probably plotting something.
Yebba may be a fiery, unstoppable force, deep down, she’s just a sweet girl learning to slow down… maybe.
Want to fund Yebba’s next great adventure (or zoomies session)?

Also known as: Tucker-Roni Pepperoni, Tucker Roonie Toons, T-Bone, and approximately 47 other nicknames.
Tucker joined our family after what was supposed to be a routine TNR trapping project in our local West Lawn community.
During trapping, we noticed this handsome orange guy and brought him in to be scanned for a microchip. While he was already neutered, there was no microchip.
Before long, it became clear that Tucker had found his way exactly where he was meant to be.
At just one year old, Tucker is equal parts curious explorer and professional goofball.
He's a quieter cat who prefers observing the world before jumping into the action, but don't let his calm demeanor fool you. Bring out a wand toy and a tunnel, and suddenly Tucker is ready for business.
When he's not investigating the house or participating in an important tunnel expedition, Tucker can usually be found enjoying one of his favorite activities: a good Sunday pampering session. Brushing, attention, compliments about how handsome he is—Tucker believes all are essential parts of a balanced lifestyle.
Most importantly, Tucker completed our rescue crew.
What began as a community cat trapping effort turned into finding a permanent family member, and we can't imagine Stray Cat News without him.
We're pretty sure he feels the same way.
(Though he'd probably prefer we express that through treats.)
